I hope she pulls through for you Angie. Its a horrible feeling when they dont. Put the water dish right in front of her so she won't have to go far and then its fingers crossed I'm afraid. Good luck!

Same here. I've not offered any advise as I don't feel qualified or experienced enough, but I do home the little thing pulls through OK.

Despite looking better 4 the last couple of days my girl didn't make it. I think the stress may of been 2 much 4 her and she passed away y-day. I'm still puzzled as 2 why she moved herself after she had already molted and then resumed the molt position and I would really like 2 learn from this sad situation. I'm still left unsure if I should of moved her in the 1st place.

Thankyou 2 every1 who gave advice and support, as hard as it is when 1 of ur pets die I really took comfort in feeling u guys/girls wer here 4 me, THANKYOU

          With Kind Regards

              really sorry to hear Angie
it could be the spider was just resting and stretching...
or maybe something went wrong with the moult. hard to tell really
anyways you did what you could

Dont be too disheartened by your loss , many a time i have had too rear lambs because they have been rejected and done so well that i would wake up one morning too find they had passed on , it happens but it does take some getting used too and its when u put all the time and effort into rearing them that it seems too hurt more. Unfortunately thats a flaw in human nature i think

                  Hi Angie
So sorry your little girl didn't pull through don't be hard on yourself
Like you I have never known a "T" move after a moult and bury itself I would have done the same and uncovered her. They usually stretch out after a moult the right way up on the web they have laid down to moult on so perhaps she had some other underlying problem and would have passed on anyway without intervention.
If you had left her in that position and she had passed on you would have been kicking yourself for not trying to help her out wouldn't you ?
                  Its a no win situation

                  All the best for now

sorry to hear of your loss. I've been following this thread and its awful when you cant offer any help. But hopefully this wont just be a learning curve just for you but for everyone following the thread.

I've had similar happen with my scorpions and water dragons before now and always gutted if they dont make it. Keep ya chin up hun

Sorry to hear about your girl, Angie. As has been said, don't feel too bad. It's really easy in these situations to blame yourself but you acted with the best intentions with no idea of what the problem was. Sometimes these things work out and sometimes they don't and you never really know what the deciding factor was. Sorry about your emilia.
