Tarantula Tattoos

Just doing some research on tattos at the mo.. well research meaning finding images i can use. it wont be for a while due to dosh probs.

but..

was wondering if people can post up pics of theres, or friends etc.

at the moment, im thinking of getting this pic of my smithi put on my arm.

(as this is a handling pic, im not posting a pic. just a link (hope thats ok))
(but u cant really see actual handling... its just on a hairy pink carpet....)

cheers, but i think its best seeing the "actual" tattoo if you know wot i mean. actually on someone etc. i searched google for them, and only found 4 or 5 good looking ones.

Jason, there's a bloke called Mark Pennell that occasionally comes onto the forum (something to do with admin or running the forum....something like that ).

He seems to think that he's a budding tattoo artist.....might be worth PM'ing him and asking if he's available to advise and do the work.

now if you were getting pastel-coloured flowers and smiling kittens...that would truly be evil!

Im already practising my drawing skills. matthew's gunna be covered in tarantula's while i have the scorpions. I always draw my own tattoo's coz im never happy with the ones i see in tattoo places!

We have one of the best tattoo artists in the country 200 metres down the road from me , only thing is he is expensive and he has a 2 year waiting list so i have plenty of time too save up

Yes I do frequent this forum now and again!... hourly

As with any tattoo its only as good as the original artwork and of course most importantly the person tattooing you.

I would be happy to advise anyone on this subject, and of course even tattoo them if they wanted. I am currently building a quite a good portfolio.

There are some really great artists out there and one should always look around and check the artists previous work. I have seen a few people who specialize in tattooing insects and bugs etc.

might have to put my own artwork portfolio together then I used to specialise in drawing motorbikes.
Unfortunately i framed all my pictures and they were all stolen when i moved to halifax. gutted.

so a good reason to get drawing again.
