  • Outside of 2 enclosures covered in spider poo!

After doing my weekly feed last night i stumbled upon something alarming! The outside on the top of my b.emilia tank was covered in specks of spider poo. As i moved onto my trapdoor spiders enclosure i noticed that it was all over the vents of the enclosure which has baffled me but has brought me too a weird conclusion. Could it be that the trapdoor spider had poked its bum out of its hole and squirted its mess all over the place? I didnt know they could do that if they are responsible !

This is "Golden rule number 1" for trappies Matt,

If there's a little hole that they can manage to aim at and squirt their waste matter out of......they manage it !!!!!

Over 4ft distance is not uncommon apparently.

Avics seem to be the masters of this particular 'art' where tarantulas are concerned

Our Avic. pink toe, constantly sprays the tank lid, I think it is an abstract art form they use.

              it's certainly expressive!
