just picked up 2 new Ts, i got a c.crawshayi and b.albopilosum. they looking good in their new tanks. i now have...

c.crawshayi,
b.albopilosum
b.smithi,
b.boehmi,
b.sabulosum,
b.auratum,
b.klaasi,
b.vagans,
b.emilia,
b.baumgarteni,
a.geniculata,
p.rufilata x3
g.rosea x3,
n.carapoensis,

and one more maybe someone can help me with. its only a baby at the moment but was sold to me as a costa rican blue front, can anyone tell me the scientific name for this one please

I think the Aphonopelma crinirufum is refered to as the "Blue front" mate

And there's two missing off that list (*edit* two spiders....one species!)

Hey Matthew,

My first tarantula book from the early 90's refers to the Costa Rican blue front as Citharacanthus crinirufus then it changed to Citharacanthus crinirufum. But like the other guys are saying it has now been re-named as Aphonopelma crinirufum. Must say its a nice species, I haven't seen any about in years. **JEALOUS** LOL.

its one i had never seen in the flesh but its a youngster, barely an inch leg span and i won it in a raffle at a club meeting

i did get asked if i wanted any p.ornata a while back, i will find out if they are still available for you colin. you could even buy some more of them fantastic pots if you come down lol

A. crinirufum are excellent spiders. I have one that the family have named Dweezil

i think i am going to haqve to wait a while for mine to grow before i can appreciate it properly. from what i have seen in pictures i think i am going to really like this one
