could anyone tell me why my spider keeps lying on her back and spinning thick white webs, she only started to do a month or so ago,and she looks total weird doing it,any reason??

My guess would be that your spider is a mature male and it is making sperm webs.

My guess would be that KJ is absolutely correct.

Do you have any pictures of the spider? What species is it? Does it have shiny reddish brown appendages on it's pedipalps?

I'd have to agree with KJ as well...

As Phil says...any chance of some pictures to confirm ?

Do you still have a moult? It would be fairly staightforward to sex it from that.
