christ.... that would prob be fine for an adult t.blondi lol.. yes. most def fine. (ull prob find its too big.. eg. your smithi wont use al the space. they dont do much lol.... well mine dont) also make sure u fill it quite high up with substrate. if it climbs. 45 cm's is a tad too far for a smithi to fall.

Hi Vincent, and welcome to the forum. A good choice for your first T. As Jason said, the tank is a bit big, but don't forget to put in a hide and a water dish.

          Hi Vincent and welcome.

Like Jason says, it may be wise to fill the tank with a fair amount of substrate to minimise possible injury if it climbs and falls. It will give the spider the option to burrow if it so desires as well.
If you have a large open area you can fill this with pieces of driftwood and a few rounded rocks etc, this will give the spider a more tactile environment and it won't feel so "lost" in such a large open space.
A few plastic plants spotted around and trailing down the sides of the tank would possibly help to give the spider some stimulation as well (if they actually need it), and give it something to get a good grip on when it does decide to have a climbing spree (therefore minimising the possibilty of a fall)

          Glad you're enjoying the hobby

          Colin
