  • Looking for a T breeder in kent/Thanet

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right area to post this but i presume its correct since i cant post in the classfeild area.

I'm basically looking to expand on my T collection, and get a 2nd or maybe even a 3rd T. So basically i'm looking for any local breeders in the kent/Thanet area that i could visit and take a look at some species

hi michael, welcome to the forum. i could not miss this opportunity to advertise a club that im in. the invicta arachnid club is a brilliant social gathering for arachnid enthusiasts. we meet on the last wednesday of every month at bobbing village hall near sittingbourne, we have some members that come from the thanet area. a couple of people in the club do breeding and there is usually something up for sale. every month at our meeting we have a guest speaker, who give us very educational and interesting talks on the subject. this months meeting should be good as we have Ray Hale from the BTS giving us a talk. the next meeting is wednesday of next week. you should come along, if nothing else its a free cup of tea/coffee lol

Ok so i'm definatly comin tonight, i'll be getting the train there. I was wondering if you could give me directions from the station maybe
Or if anyone could give me a lift / walk with me. goggle maps shows it could be a fair walk from sittingbourne station.

sorry michael, only just got your previous post after the meeting. i could maybe have sorted something out for you, i will see what i can do next time for you if your stuck, thats if you want to come back anyway lol. i hope you enjoyed the meeting, there are usually a few more people than that turn up and it was unfortunate that peter kirk was unable to come and give us that talk, still chris did sort of a good job organising that last minute quiz lol. well hope to see you again michael if we havent scarred you off, take care

Its okey no worries, got my lift from the station and on the other end too hehe. I loved the meeting, a nice bunch of people! I'll certainly be there for the next one. I didnt quite know what to expect especially coming up there on my own but i got a lovely welcome, so thank you

Should hopefully gain a few more T's in the near future from speaking to everyone tonight which is great.

Thanks very much for having invited me along else i doubt i'd have known anything about the club.

Matthew perhaps you could post the meetings up to remind ppl. After reading your post I wasn't 100% sure it was actually this Wednesday and couldn't see anything on the website when I had a quick look. I'm certainly interested in coming to one of them.
Was it Peter Kirk or Ray Hale that was supposed to be speaking?
