            Your right Linda, there is always another time, that's why I've decided to breed my schmidti next!
            Best leave Lisa and Matthew to the vonwirthi, then after my schmidti's had babies, I can pester them for help and advice with my vonwirthi!

              When it's a breeding female, I think it's better to loose the sac than the T, though.

                Oh definitely, I'd be devastated if anything happened to her.
                Her abdomen wasn't very big at all after she'd made the sac, I'm starting to wonder if she munched it cos she was hungry..?

                  Their abdomens do shrink after laying eggs. I doubt very much that it was hunger that made her eat the sac.

                    I'm certain we will be holding a few back to look out for males, it looks like we may also have a sub adult girly vonwirthi but that is awaiting confirmation
