  • Smithi humidity

Dear all, I have a juvenile B smithi, about 2-3 inches big, and I think she is about to go through a moult. This will be the first moult with me since I got her. I have never had a B smithi before so can anyone advise me on the perfect humidity levels for a B smithi moult? The tank sits at around 70% humidity normally so will this do or do I need to increase it? Thanks guys

I'm assuming Brachypelma smithi rather than Poecilotheria smithi? Both have wildly different husbandry needs so can you let us know which one we're talking about?

presuming it is a B-smithi, with mine, i always mist a little just before a moult. the humidity in my smithis tank is only regulated with its water dish which is enough. if thats the same in ur case, then just a quick misting and you shouldnt need to do anything else.
