My 1st molt :)

Hi all,

My b.smithi molted in the night, he is about an inch and a half now.

The molt is folded back on itself, i haven't moved it yet but as its small and delicate, is their a way i can get the molt bent into position so it looks like a t, if you know what i mean,without braking it. should i leave molt in their or is it ok to ,move it now

You can take it out at any time now the spiders rid of it

If you dampen it slightly you can manipulate it (carefully) into what position you want. i find it easy to hold the moult in tweezers and hold it for a brief second over a boiling kettle to soften it.

My tarantula molted too i'm so excited.It's much beautiful now..
