No 8 legged pressies for me, got the boyfriend his first one though (see picture gallery)

This is my 4th day in a row sitting in waiting for post, it seems that next day delivery means nothing at this time of year! Good thing I am a student and have a whole month off and so have not much better to do than sit in waiting for post! Although I do really need to go into town to get the last of my Christmas shopping, EEK!

Happy Winter Solstice for the 21st folks. That's my version of Christmas .

For those who are interested this is what its all about ( bare in mind Paganism is older than Christianity so it may seem a bit familiar to some of you)

Winter Solstice Midwinter/Yule/Alban Arthan, on the winter solstice known to have included the sacrifice of a pig for the god Freyr, a tradition which survives in the Scandinavian Christmas ham. Many of the symbols associated with the modern holiday of Christmas such as the burning of the Yule log, the eating of ham, the hanging of boughs, holly, mistletoe, etc. are apparently derived from traditional northern European Yule celebrations. Heathenry In Germanic Neopagan sects, Yule is celebrated with gatherings that often involve a meal and gift giving.
