Sorry this took a little time but here is just a taster of the tarantula stuff I found in Vietnam. Full set of photos in the journal when I write the article but here is the (possibly) new arboreal spider and the burrow in a tree where it lives which I hope will do for now.

The pictured spider is indeed a juvenile (around 1" long) the burrow is that of an adult which looked very similar to the colour of the youngster. No pics I'm afraid but I do have some digital video footage.
I also have the juvenile currently settling into a vivarium. so when he/she grows we should have a better idea about what it is.The things that come to those who wait may be the things left by those who got there first!

Did you happen to come across the spider that built this burrow?
It looks to be quite a big one!

Hi,
Awe damn, no BlueThe legs don,t look very arboreal,it doesnt have the large Scopulate pads that are destinctive of most arboreals. You will probably tell me its not arboreal now
but im just going on your other post saying that you found a new arboreal.
How high up off the ground did you find them, did they use anything to Camouflage their webbing?
