It's seems more likely to me that an impressionable kid who stumbled across it and thought it'd be fun who hadn't done the research would find it than a well informed keeper who knew the risks and how to minimse them

If we have to think about impressionable kids then I think Ebay, The internet, T.V., Driving cars, Infact almost everything in life has to be banned for their safety. To place an add or bid on Ebay you have to also be 18 so the kid factor doesn't even come into it for me. This is an area I see as a responciblity of the parents and not the avereage internet user.

I have been using Ebay since I was seven or eight with my own account, and you know why? Because PayPal do not actually check your age.

Yep I am well awear that kids can and do access the internet and use mum and dads credit card and like I said this is the entire responciblity of the parents to inforce any internet laws in this case.

You will notice that sado masochism involves a fair bit of whipping.

and the expression flogging a dead horse is an expression for something being a waste of time.
But I have used it in a way of describing nechrophilia, beastialityand sado masochism all at the same time.

so if you are into nechrophilia,beastiality & sado masochism you are flogging a dead horse!

Well, a topic about parent responsibilty will probably be straying too far from topic but I think too much pressure is put on parents. Kids are mischievous little devils. I certainly was and I made my parents life far from easy. It can be difficult to impose rules and laws on kids and often results in a backlash. How many times did we do things just because we were told not to? And as Richard pointed out its possible for a cunning kid to beat the rules on ebay.
