  • Tarantula with apparent Dyskinetic Syndrome HAS MOULTED

I just caught her in the process a few minutes ago, and she's still at it. This is a big surprise!

    that's the probable S javensis?
that can only be a good sign mate...perhaps something was wrong with the leg and she dropped it to aid the moult? not that they're usually that smart, but you never know?
maybe the other motions had to do with a sort of "discomfort" due to an impending possibly dangerous moult? i dunno, just clutching at hypotheses here!
at any rate a fantastic sign that things will improve!
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

The P. inermis has turned from a boring brown to a beautiful blue-grey colour! All I can say is....WOW! I've had two centipede and two tarantula moults in THREE weeks!

I really need to stop and catch my breath... This is phenomenal as far as I'm concerned! Pics COMING!

EDIT: PICS! First is of the P. inermis and the second is of the two exuvia side by side (DUH)!
