hi everyone. some of you may remember me posting about this a while back but now plans are progressing. as a club, we are arranging an arachid show in the south east called South East Arachnid Show (SEAS). we want to get this trade show just right and need to draw up some funds so we have decided to hold this show in feb 2011. we are currently confirming details but we hope to have it at the Ashford market halls which is just off junction 10 of the M20, so its nice and easy to find. just for a rough head count, who would be interested in attending/booking tables for this event?? (please note that it is strictly for the sale of invertebrates only, no reptiles allowed)

i'd be up for it! i'm sure it won't conflict with the lectures, so should be all good.

it certainly wont clash, will maybe try and do it beginning of feb so close to peoples january pay days, where as lectures falls on feb pay day. we are going for feb so it sits nicely between the bts show and the kempton park show.

Not my neck of the woods Matthew, but I wish you all the success with the show. Hopefully, we'll see some good pics in 2011.

I'd attend and possibly have a table, who knows, its nearly 2 years away. I find it odd that it takes that long to organise without having the element of non-committal. If it were in 6 months time I could plan my attendance, if it were a year in advance I could do the same, but 2 years is too far ahead to warrant any definite answer. Not trying to be negative, I'm very likely to attend but I'm finding it hard to see the benefits of such a timescale.

the reason we are planning so far in advance is mainly because of the financial commitment we would need to make. it will need quite abit of up front cash from the club and we need time to raise that. we are basically looking to see if there would be enough interest to make it a financially viable idea
