  • Grammostola "North"

    Hi folks,

I was just wondering if this species had been formally named yet? Does anyone have any?

I bought one several months ago and it's turned out to be male. They are spectacular spiders (and I am dissapointed to find out that my time with him will be short, poor males!).

Incidentally, are there any sure fire signs to tell if I have a penultimate male or MM? He's got tibial hooks and pacing a lot, but the epiandrous fusillae is not as obvious as I would have expected from other pictures I've seen.

As far as today, it's still "sp. North"

If it has tibial spurs then its mature mate, if you feel like lending him out PM me for an address to send him to.
Don't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.
