Euathlus sp "blue" housing

Hi i got a Euathlus sp i few weeks ago its a sling atm. So i just want a few things verified they do like mojority of there substrate as sand? Am i right in saying they use gaps already in groups of rocks etc for there home.

Mine atm is only about 2-3cm and i have him on 70%-30% sand-soil and have 2 small rocks that make like a little house that it goes under and everything seems ok atm. Thanks
