  • Info regarding Lampropelma violaceopes

I already has 3 of these beauties, (1 adult female, 1 sub female, 1 sub male) and have been keeping them for a little over a year now. So feel fairly confident to know all of the basic care.

However this year i'm hoping to breed them, if the male matures. In addition I am going to be making a 4ft enclosure divided into three sections to house each one, this is going to be a large setup for display with a full living enviroment.

I'm after any advanced info from folk who have dealt extensivly with this species, specific habitat areas, temperature ranges during the seasons, which season they breed in, and so forth.

Also if anyone can throw either pictures they have taken themselves of the habitat or links to one that would also be apprecieated.

    Thanks in advance.

I believe there's an article on breeding these within the BTS journals as well as an interesting read on C. thorelli by Mark Pennell that's also worth a read.

I'm also interested in the breeding of these as I have 1 AF, picking up another at the weekend and should have a MM soon.

This, although rather brief, is worth checking:
