  • Unusual behaviour

I have been keeping an eye on one of my earth tigers after noticing some strange behaviour. She has been holding her abdomen in the air all day. Checked for external parasites and there is not a thing. I even thought she might be too hot so i removed the heat source and she still holds her abdomen in the air. She is fairly active (well no less active than usual). And i just wondered if its normal or not . The species is Ornithoctonus aureotibialis.

My G. aureostriata sling does the same thing too. Never seen it in any of my other T's so have no idea what it's all about. It only does it when I'm doing tank maintenence and it seems to be when it feels threatened. It's almost at a right angle when it goes up. It eats and sheds fine though so I've thought nothing of it.
