As far as I'm aware we're pretty short of places to get hold of Tarantulas up here. I used to deal with a guy
called Dr Robert Bustard over in Alyth, Perthshire, but not heard a squeak from him for years, used to get a
monthly list of available species, quite some collection he had.
Apart from the odd Chile Rose in a pet shop I don't know of anywhere North of the border, maybe others do.......

Anybody know if Dr. Robert Bustard is still alive? I used to get the monthly list too, think it was around 1994 ish, I met him once at a BTS shown, not sure of the year but was a long time ago, he had with him a Goliath in a tank and it was f***ing huge. Also anybody know if the Airlie Brae variety of Goliath is still being bred?Originally posted by Andy Wood View PostAs far as I'm aware we're pretty short of places to get hold of Tarantulas up here. Sorry for the silly questions but I have taken a 10 year break from the hobby but now I have regained my interest, I always loved the biggest and baddest of spiders.
Thanks
Henry
