Watering a baby

I just recently bought my first spiderling, and I was wondering about how to give it water without dehydrating it or drowning it. Right now I have a small dixie cup filled with pebbles and then water, to prevent my little friend from falling in, but still being able to get to the water easily. Is there a better way to do this, or is this sufficient?

Use syringe. Inject water into basis.

Yeah, moistening the substrate can work, but spiderlings will get a lot of the fluid they need from their food.
