I leave them as long as possible . The only time they really get cleaned out is either if they need a bigger home or a severe case of mites is observed. But i do keep tank cleaner wood lice in the vast majority of my tanks and I Dry most of my terrestrial spiders tanks out to mimic a dry period during there natural climate (which will bring down any numbers of mites down.). Doing it too often seems like a big waste of time and money and may cause unnecessary stress to the spider. If you do a spot clean at least 2 days after you fed your spider you will not get any mould. As for doing it after every moult it could be a bit futile for me as alot of my spider incorporate the exuvium into the walls of their burrow.
