Regarding the breeding of Aphonopelma sp 'new river' thread i put up a while ago.
Well i guess i was hoping with my girl been WC she may lay this spring and just of late her abdomen seemed to be alot bigger! however for the past few days she has been in premoult which ties in just right in regards to the info ive managed to find with Aphonopelma sp in the surrounding area's ( they tend to lay or moult out in the spring ...and please someone correct me if im wrong )
The subadult male however no change ...hes eats like a horse and is on a diet at the moment lol
How are things going at your end with yours James?

    Hi, Lynn,
sounds like my females are just a little behind yours. one is darkening, the other is getting a touch more drab. can't wait!
my male has moulted and is stunning...thankfully he is not mature yet.
so looks like it'll be next year or the year after for mating them!
the male hasn't eaten as much as i expected but seems healthy and alert, the females are both fat.
i really can't wait for them to moult and show off their colours!
