Hi Chris,
The stripe makes me think of Ornithoctonus aureotibialis, though if its a Psalmopoeus I wouldn't know I'm afraid. What I'd do is get a container with about 6 inches of soil and put a small 6 inch bark tube on top (that should cover a 5 litre cereal container easily). Put the usual air holes in and mist, heavily in the corner opposite the bark tube for drinking and lightly everywhere else. Chuck in a cricket and put in a dark, warm cupboard for de-stressing. Keep the water checked once in the morning and once at night. Then take the container out and put in a room with normal daylight hours, and throw in another cricket. Keep the watering as above and the temperature at 26-28 degrees all the time if possible. Then after a few days, see which way it goes (my bet is it will dig). Then just treat as a standard tropical arborial/fossorial, and when bigger let us have a picture!sigpicHate is for people who find thinking a little too complicated!
