  • New additions!!

So, the annual British Tarantula Society show was yesterday, and both my father and I managed to pick up some nice additions to our collections!

Firstly, my Dad managed to get hold of a Brachypelma auratum which he has been after for a very long time! It is quite a bad flicker of hairs though, but you can't have everything!

And I managed to pick up three new spiderlings to add to my ever-expanding collection.

    Psalmopoeus irminia
(Not the world's greatest picture, but it was on the wrong side of the cork bark and taking pictures through the jar doesn't seem to work!!)

    Pterinochilus murinus
(Even at such a young age this is showing a great deal of attitude. Also, it is the Orange Colour Form, not the Dark Colour Form which is a nice bonus!)

    Brachypelma ruhnaui
(The original spiderling I wanted which started off my addiction, but it was sold out and have been hunting it ever since!)

Did you get the Auratum from the guy who had the table by the pay-in desk? He had some real lovely full grown Brachypelmas.

Shame you didn't get your A. chalcodes James. I couldn't see any on my walk around. There were a few I was looking for but couldn't see that I expected would be there but plenty more I didn't expect that were there so I still came away very happy. By the way, that Yamia I bought has settled in nicely. Cheers!
