That's impressive to say the least! If you go on youtube and look for a user called tarantulaguy1976 (I'm sure many of you on here know him as Rob C) he has vids of a Blondi estimated to be 11 inches. She's affectionately known as "Zilla" and is massive.

lol Zilla is a not that big,

Unless you measure the carapace and femur widths, everything else is not credible as legs can be stretched and body fattened up. Rob is just ultra excited!

No pics of contenders, but I know the heaviest spider is Rosi, a female Goliath bird eating spider (Theraphosa blondi), who weighed 175 g ( 6.17 oz) on 27 July 2007 and belongs to Walter Baumgartner of Andorf, Austria. ^_^
