Hi i have a bolivan long hair and i was cleaning out its tank when she ran away and dropped at least 6 foot on the ground. She is only 3-5 cm. I picked her up and put here back into her tank. I have read that t's die from this, from internal bleeding or the abdomen splits. I went to work came home 12 hours later and she is still alive. Surley if she was going to die from the fall she would be dead already?

Its quite true that a drop of that height is likely to kill an adult tarantula however as slings have much less body weight and seem to be able to use their hairs to glide, I'd suggest your Plesiopelma sp. bolivia (?) will be fine.Check on the abdomen and around the joints for any leaks which might be fixed with a little flour or in worse case scenario some super glue.

i once had a very small H mac die from its tub accidentally being knocked off a shelf, it was dead the next day.
also had an adult A moderatum that i had just got jump a few feet and a month later, for no other reason i could work out, had died. the guess is that something got damaged inside and simply took that long to kill her. however, there is no proper proof of this.
however there's every likelihood your spider will be ok at that size. my H mac may have got battered in its tub as it bounced, so not much of a chance, whereas your spider probably absorbed the shock pretty well.
check as Peter said but fingers crossed should be ok.Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.
