The time has finally come for the novice to step up to the plate (so to speak) and look at keeping old world t's. With the massive selection available, which old world t would make a great display spider? I read on the forum that H.lividum isnt a good choice and a few others. Not really that keen on arboreal's, but i think that comes from not having kept any.
Also, would it be advisable to keep Woodlice (isopods) with the tarantulas that require more humid tanks to limit mites? as for some reason im currently waging war on a very small (for now) mite problem in my Eurathlus sp tank...its not kept excessivley humid, but the little B****rs keep holding on no matter how dry i keep the tank, and i didnt really want to destroy spiders webbing by using new substrate if could be helped.
