Hi all!! I've not been on the forum much lately, so I hope I find you and your 8 legged friends all ok.
My B.smithi juvi hasn't eaten anything since before Christmas if my memory serves me right. Which normally means one thing, but as the months went by, I just put it down to the fact she must have had weight issues and was aiming for a size zero
At the back end of last week, the rump got darker and about 20 minutes ago, I'd noticed she'd moved from her favourite little spot of the past few months into a less claustrophic area and laid down a moult mat. I was very excited by this as I knew she would flip soon. I'd seen a few moults, but have never seen the flip. I went up stairs for a much needed shower and then rushed downstairs. Guess what, the spiteful cow only went and flipped.
Hopefully, I should have a shiny new bigger tarantula in the morning
