Uni project help... again. legal issues regarding breeding

Hello all,

As some of you may know from previous posts I am currently writing a uni project which is a business plan for a tarantula breeding program.

Thanks to all the committee members who have helped so far. I'm sure i'll be in contact soon! I thought I would post in the forum as I dont want to do their heads in!

I need to know if there are any legal issues I would need to consider regarding breeding in the U.K?

I have tried searching on the net but it was hard to find the information I was after....

Hi
No legal issues in breeding T are in the UK. If breeding cites species then you may have to supply a declaration from the breeder if moving out of the country inside the European Union.

Other than that, captive breeding can only be a good thing and this should and is not legislated against.
