This must be a problem with the paypal payment gateway and not the store. Just try later, it should be fine.. any more problems contact me directly OK.

I tried to renew my membership yesterday and today too and my browser gave me this error when trying to connect to the e-store:

shop.thebts.co.uk uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate expired on 17/07/2009 15:48.

(Error code: sec_error_expired_certificate)

* This could be a problem with the server's configuration, or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.
* If you have connected to this server successfully in the past, the error may be temporary, and you can try again later.

Is this a problem at my end or the websites end?

I paid a few weeks ago now and still have not heard anything regarding my membership.....this is slow I must be fair considering the money was taken straight away

The store is in the process of being moved so I never renewed the certifcate, as the payment gatway is still secure it does not make much difference and can be safely ignored.

However I have now renewed the certifcate and it should be back to normal shortly. I have been told I can move the SSL to the new URL once I move the store..

Like I said before its very unusaul for us to forget anyone, its just takes time to process these things, we all work full time and some of us in very hectic stressful jobs with long irregular hours.

The 28 days stated on the order reciept is generally the longest people have to wait. Plus there is a code and instant link to the latest journal in PDF format, and inside there are codes to access the BTS members area.

Which constitutes instant BTS membership so all your waiting for is a hard copy and card...

Anyway glad its all sorted for you now... enjoy..

So what is the usual waiting period for the hard copies and membership card? I just purchased my BTS membership and was just curious is all.

Also I just attempted to access the BTS membersite but the username and password in the journal I got in my email isnt working. [the one found in vol 24 no 3]
