Thanks Jon, I wasnt far off then, humidity is between 70 - 80% and 80F dropping a few degrees at night. 8" thats a big spider! I'm going to have fun with that when I eventually transfer it into a larger tank, I was thinking something around 10 gallon aquarium size for a spider that big?

i have a small sling, and it spends most of the time in its burrow, another great pet hole species

Mines about 4" legspan and it's out every night so far, it sits at the entrance to the burrow for an hour or so then starts patrolling the tank. It's a nice looking spider and it hasnt got defensive when I pass the tank or view it...only that once when I was putting it in it's new home, didnt like that much What do you feed the sling on?
