I'm sorry if this is not the right forum but can anyone tell me how to get a photo to appear on my threads? I've uploaded a profile photo and it saves the changes but it never seems to appear

The profile photo is the one in your actual profile, if you wish to have a picture on the thread (like my spinning logo) then this is your avatar image (also found in user CP)
If you still have problems, I think it will be most likely to do with the size Jane
your avatar picture should be at a maximum.... 80x80 pixels and 19.5kb
and the profile picture should be ... 100x100 pixels and 64kb
also check the file types the forum supports.
you could try and resize the image you want in a graphic package (paintshop pro, coreldraw, photoshop etc) then see if it works.
Sometimes in these packages you are able to reduce the amount of colours in the image (ie down to 256 colours) this can reduce the image size further.Don't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.
