    im gonna ask for advice again, i have had sericopelma rubritens in my posession sometime now, she used to be black with a red abdomen but now has gone a very rusty brown but has been in a moult for about 12 months, i know the males can be rusty brown colour but no hooks as of yet and abdomen still big, eats fine vey skitty spider, doesn't like water bowl either.

    Female Sericopelma rubronitens normally "brown off" before a moult. once he/she has moulted if you post a pic of the spider/skin I can tell you what sex it is.

        sadly my rubritens died 2 days ago, at least she had no suffering
