All mine are UK native and they all survive , even breed in the tanks.

Cheers Grant. It'd be a shame to experiment with the little guys if they arn't gonna survive. Maybe i should research some more exotic woodlice and try and get my hands on some.

Dartfrog sell colonies, but they are rather expensive. I'm sure some people on here have those small white ones that thrive at temps >20C.

@Matthew: Fair enough. I haven't tried native species, although I think I like the look of the exotic species...the large Porcello species look cool and all but I prefer them in the garden.

I generally put about half a dozen large ones in each of the adults, if you put them in any thing smaller they may get eaten
