  • housework ie container cleaning

I am unsure as to which is best practise with this
1 of my A. versicolor slings recently moulted and I am unable to remove the moult without disturbing its webbing.
Should I remove the moult and possibly cause damage to the web in the process or just leave it in-situ rather than risk stressing the spider? I have a sort of self cleaning living substrate with woodlice and (thanks to a recent query) springtails in it but I am uncertain as to whether or not to clean the web so to speak
I sort of get the feeling that removing items from the web would be more for aesthetic reasons than out of necessity

Leave it in there. It shouldn't cause any problems

i agree with phil, leave it where it is and the spider will chuck it out if it in the way.

Yep leave it in there if it gets in the spiders way it'll chuck it out itself.

the only pain with this is if you need to ascertain the sex, this is where they don't throw it out and hide it away at the bottom of the tank where you can't even get at it .... which is ... as they say....typical!!
