  • Poecilotheria Book - appeal for data

    Dear Reader

I have been asked by Andrew Smith to help with his new Poecilotheria book.

We are looking for breeding data for all species of Poecilotheria whether the breeding was sucssesfull
or (just as importantly) not, even if you have only attempted to breed Poecilotheria once, all data is valuable.

We hope to include the names of all the people contributing thier data, in the book.

All data will be treated as confidential.

If anyone is interested in supplying thier breeding data please email me :

    pokiebook@hotmail.co.uk

For a copy of the spread sheet.

    Many thanks

I have a fair bit on the BTS sites, breeding survey. I'll have to have a look to see whats on there. Also should that not be:

    pokiebook@hotmail.com

    and not .co.uk

    Cheers
    Mark

Going for the record for thread resurrection Martin? lol

I suspect only Andy Smith knows this information. Perhaps the market is no longer there for expensive tarantula books which don't sell well in times of recession (as others found to their cost)?

no idea at all. I even don't know exactly, who is actually working on it. Only, that Märklin und Kroes are supporting the thesis, that P. sp. "lowland" is the same species as P. bara and that there will be a paper in the future. ...but by whom...don't know!

                Cheers,
                Martin
