Haplopelma Colouration?

    Haplopelma Colouration?

    Do all species of Haplopelma have the same/similar colouration as juvies until they reach their adult molts? The sp in particular are H.Lividum and H.Albostriatum. I would take photo's to help with this question but the Lividum as you all know isnt one for a photo opportunity .

    The best i could describe both T's would be they are an overall dirty brown and both display striping on the abdomen (more so in the Albostriatum) only other difference is the size, but then again Lividum's are naturally larger

    It is often the case that sub adult male lividums whilst exhibiting some blue coluration never actually become the vivid blue as the females. males often stay a dull brown and on final moult are very leggy.

      Thanks Ray, they are far from sub adult, they are about 1 1/2 inches...so got some growing to do
