Having been in the hobby for about 6 months, like many others my enthusiasm is turning into a bit of an obsession! And like other hobbiests I want to add to my T collection. Luckily my house has a fairly spacious built in garage which I plan to use as a place to keep my T's. It needs a bit of work doing to it, the ceiling and walls need insulating to maintain heat and theres no lighting but but I work in construction so thats no problem. I just wanted some input as to what to include. If I'm going to do this, I thought I might as well do it properly. I think I'm going to go for a heated room as opposed to using heat mats, etc. Any suggestions on what kind of heating system to use? Lighting I'm unsure about. I'm tempted to go for limited and dim lighting which won't disturb them. This will only be used when I'm in there. I will mainly be keeping arboreals and I want to meet the ideal requirements so I can eventually start breeding.
Anyway I'm in no hurry, my collection is only very small at the moment. (4x A.Versicolor slings) So I thought I would start this thread a few months before I plan on doing any work on it to gather some ideas and hopefully some suggestions. I can see this being a nice project I can work on at weekends.
