Hey guys,
Anyone who uses RFUK will know that my A.genic female died over the last couple of days.
Basically it was in pre-molt (went dark last week) and was doing fine. Then we had noticed that it hadn't moved at all since Sunday morning (So that is over 48 hours) and today there is a horrible smell coming from the tank (similar to when a couple of my scorps died).
I think that she must have had an internal bleed. I've put her in an ICU just for piece of mind for my Dad (as it is technically his T), but I'm 99.9% sure she is dead.
Is there any reason this may have happened. Was it preventable? If it was a mistake we have made I would certainly like to know so we can learn from it and try to prevent it happening in future.
Temps were around 75-78 and humidity was always between 70% and 75% (both measured using digital readers).
Thanks all.
