Seriously though, never had a problem with any package with a "fragile" sticker on but each to their own and all that.
The way I pack 'em,they could play baseball with it and spidy would still be ok.....I hope

LOL, I've seen it happen with my own eyes Linda, particularly where either disgruntled or temporary staff are concerned, so I'm more of a realist than a pessimist I even saw a postie in Chester dragging a box along the pavement by one handle and drop it off the edge (containing 2.5k worth of kit by the way). It was covered in Fragile stickers

Also, having been an almost daily visitor to our sorting office for the last >10 years, I know the posties there very well, and I've been told on several occasions not to use Fragile stickers because some people will make a point of throwing them about.

We send a few thousand packages a year by Royal Mail from work with no stickers and they get through OK. Also having personally sent a fair few spider packages to date, I have never lost any spiders in transit either, so I'm going to stick to what I know.

However, if Fragile stickers work for you or anyone else, then excellent. I'm not telling anyone not to use them, just that I don't.

On the whole Royal Mail are pretty good really. Our daughter used to work in the office of a courier company, and believe me you don't even want to know some of the stuff that goes on with those!

i have to agree with you mark, i used to work for a large courier company who's name i shall not mention and the stuff they used to do with parcels covered in fragile stickers was horrific, they soon learned their lesson though when they kicked about a fragile parcel that was on its way to a laborotory though lol, men in white suits had to come and clean the warehouse for us lol

If he was really adventurous ,he would give it to the old lady behind the PO counter and tell it exactly what was in it

                        Scares me to death!!!!!

I visited a sorting place many years ago and I scares me to death at the thought of Ts getting thrown around like that, I will have to get to grips with something if I am to send any of my new spiderling off to new homes, I have received things through the post in the past and things have been fine, even though I have been worried to death about them. I think I need some lessons on how to pack them etc.

don't know if the royal mail works different than the german snail mail, but I have talked to some which worked there: stickers like "fragile" seems to encourage (temporary) personnel to have more "fun" with the parcles, like playing basketball or soccer with them.

=> I never use any stickers. If you want to put stickers on your pracel, better use lables like "honey". If a glass with honey in the parcel breaks, the honey will stick on the conveyor band and they have to clean it => extra work for them, why they will be more careful with such "dangerous" content.

                              all the best,

Martin, although i have not seen the video in question (so cannot comment on it) if paul is refering to said person...i have been in contact with tarantulaguy1976 for a while and some of his video's have been eductaional and some less so (personal opinion as i operate a "hands-off" policy with my T's). If he believes "throwing" a Hysterocrates male into water to make packaging easier then more shame on him.
