Preferred substrate for Brachpelma Albopilosum?

To all B.albopilosum owners:
What do you keep them on and whats their behaviour when they're in the vivarium?

the substrate i use is 60% vermiculite 40% peat, repti bark chippings on top covering about half of the surface.
behaviour, female webs a lot , will eat anything offered , rarely hides, though she does have a hide/burrow. likes to climb on cork bark mainly night time. she will kick and threaten if cornered, but is quite easy going otherwise.
Male, use hide more than female, will kick at any disturbance, doesnt really climb much, good eater, will catch crikets before they hit the substrate.
