Growth Rates II

Hi Folks,

Since getting my Grammostola a year or so ago I have a real interest in the Baboon T`s in particular. I intend obtaining a few ( maybe at the forthcoming BTS Exhibition in May ) and although I have read as much as I can find on T`s in general I still need to draw on members experience again !

Can someone please give me a rough idea as to the time I could expect it to take for a King Baboon to grow from say a 1" sling to a 4 or 5" SA ?

As I say I am only looking for a real rough idea but I guess it would be different for some of the other baboons, OBT`s for instance?

I dont have a C.crawshayi (king baboon)in my collection at the moment and have had a bit of bad luck with the 2 slings i have had but to my knowledge they are very slow growers my brother has 2 at different sizes and seem to take for ever to become a decent sized T but when they do they are a great addition to any collection.
Not exactly an answer to your Q i know

your answer is very helpful. Looks like I should spend a bit more and take some time to find a SA Citharischius. Maybe a sling too for the interest in bringing it on.
