The journal as always was of a pretty high standard, over the recent journals, i personally have enjoyed reading the field notes by Andrew Smith. And must admit on when seeing and reading about the S.Calceatum on pg 10 it stoked my interest in keeping one of them. For a while i have been trying to keep notes on any observations of the tarantula's in my care and hope myself to have an small article published in the BTS journal.

Keep up the stellar work and hope to see you all at the BTS show in may.

still digesting it, but enjoyed what i've read so far!

Great journal Ray as ever. I think there'll be a rush for calceata at the show (is it really still 3 months to go) bring on May!

                      One Stomatopelma calceatum.
                      Two Stromatopelma calceatum.

In other words it stays the same, irrespective of how many you are talking about.

You'd have thought a wild calceatum at 30*C in its natural habitat would be a fearsome creature - not so; they run and hide at the first sight of a camera
