  • I want to breed my G.rosea

I'm looking to get into breeding, specifically I want to breed my G.rosea.

Are they the sort of T that you can put the male in with the female, they do the tango, remove the male, hey presto egg sac, or do you need to alter temperatures to get them in the mood etc.

I've looked around the internet but can't really find any solid info on things like brumation(?), incubation temps etc.

Any advice would be most greatful.

there relativly easy to breed, so i cant see why not as long as both sex's are ready!? Always be on hand though for any 'accidents'! I know G.rosea's do very well if kept cooled and very dry for a couple of months if that helps.

Yeah I would be watching the whole shabang, as my female is quite aggressive! She's kept around 70F and very dry.

Well, I'm not really sure. She last molted in November and has refused her food this week. I might put it off until after she molts again, or see if she starts eating in the next few weeks.

I'm not really in a real rush, just wanted to get the details before I go diving in.
