  • inquirey on brachypelma-bohemei

just wondering if someone can tell me the full adult size of a brachypelma-bohemei
as mine is growing fast and seems to double in size every molt shes about a year to 2 years old?

They get to between 5" and 6" LS I believe.

They normally do a lot of growing in the first year or two, and then tend to slow down after that.

Yes, the 5/6 inches leg span seems like a good approximation.

Difficult to say at what size they actually reach maturity, but i think you want to know the full size to expect.

As adult, they should moult on an annual cycle (ie only once a year, often springtime), though its only a general rule, if it
is moulting several times throughout a year then its not mature.

Hello Bill. My own 2 Bohemeis are now around 2 years old and have so far reached 5inch span, maybe more .they grew really quickly from the 1cm slings i bought 2 years ago, almost the same size now as my 3 year old B Smithi female...great tarantulas they are always active and up to no good! !But they are very partial to kicking hairs at the slightest disturbance...
