Advice need it plz! on avicularia's

Hello there,

Last saturday both my avicularia versicolor, and amazonica, both shed theyre skin at the same time, they look very good and in good health, i am just not 2 sure, how soon i should offer them some food, i know that after a molt tarantula are very delicate.

Any of you experts out there can advice me please !

Hi Paolo
This really depends on the size of the tarantula but the reason behind it is that the fangs are not fully hardened and the body is still recovering from the moult, stretching and relaxing so therefore no need for additional disturbance.
For slings I'd suggest 2 or 3 days, for adults 5-7 days or more. Unfortunately Avics tend to be a little more delicate than many other species so if you're a little worried you could try pre-killed crickets first.
