  • Re-Housed my Mexican redknee, and new Red Rump

Well i just wanted 2 post a few pics of the re-arranged substrate, after i had a few critics from you experts, i've removed the VERMICULATE and i've started all over again...... a bit of coco fibre, and dry Chipped Bark, should do the trick.

I think useful boxes are very handy, for T's

do you know wnat wood its from? Sorry to throw this at you but its proven that certain wood chips can be harmful to Ts.

I have some bark chips in mine, i put them round the edges, and it's the one bit of my enclosure set up Rio hasn't decided to move round and change lol. Mine are from the spider shop so I guess they are ok!

Trouble with me is I get so paranoid about live crickets in with my spiders can just imagine one hiding away in a decorated set-up just waiting for my beloved Tarantula to flip on its back and making a meal of it
Hate crickets just wish someone would discover a cockroach that didnt either climb the sides of the enclosure or dig like crazy as soon as they are dropped in for my spiders lol.

I don't have a plant in mine, and Rio's hide is just half a flower pot, which she has dug all the substrate out of, making a mound at the top and the tiniest hole ever to squeeze into her hide. And she's moved all the moss around a few times, she can't get it right, same with the substrate. typical woman eh, never satisfied! lol
