    Mad africans

    Hello one and all
    Well ive decided to call my juvi king baboon " mugabe " as hes another mad african!!!...got my Hysterocrates gigas sling today from the spider shop..and a curly hair sling aswell...

    Hope everyones getting excited because sunday will soon be here!!!!....

    Any ideas for a name for my gigas sling??...is there anymore mad africans out there lol??
    all those moments will be lost in time.....like tears........in rain

    There is the H. maculata, and the S. calceata. not to mention any Pterinochilus sp. they can all be rather mad. sorry, no ideas on names. i just call them all by there scientific names.

      i love the African spiders! mine have generally not been too mad though, just skittish. i reckon i'd be quite safe if my P. lugardi or Augacephalus sp "Mozambique" stepped onto my hand, if i didn't move too quickly.
      not going to tempt fate, however.
      i've had good ferocious reactions from my C. crawshayi and my late P. murinus, however
      Mugabe...that's an interesting choice of name, though lol! poor spider hehe
