First of all:
Rio's molt was successful! I stayed up til 2.15am with her observing the molt (fascinating stuff) and took some pics (to follow in a moment!). This morning I was glad to see her upright again and then a little later go for a walk around (although she seemed a little unsteady on her feet, but I assume this will change as she hardens up a little?). As she wandered off I took the opportunity to grab the molt out to have a look at and take some pics, also to follow!
Secondly:
My latest addition, juvie X. immanis "cuervo" arrived this morning! He/she is about 2 inches in size and is still in shipping box with heat pad until housing this evening, when kids are in bed (defo not a good idea to house when they are around lol), so just one pics so far of him/her. (prob the only one where I would love a male, just for the fantastic colouring!)
Thirdly (and obviously best of all):
My BTS membership card and the journal came today!
All in all, a very exciting day!
